In February 2014, Dallas startup TangoTab, celebrated their 2nd Anniversary by Breaking a Guinness World Record for “The Most People Making Sandwiches Simultaneously.” 1,363 people came together to shatter, the then existing record (684), and set the new record at 1,363 people. As a result, 136,000 sandwiches were made and donated to feed people in need throughout the Dallas area. On August 1, 2015 fast-food giant, Subway, broke TangoTab’s record with 1,481 participants. TangoTab reclaimed this record in February 2016 with 2,587 volunteers coming together to make 32,000 sandwiches and bringing enough product for a total of 210,000 meals. Now, TangoTab is on a mission to break ANOTHER Guinness World Record. On Saturday, February 2, 2019, TangoTab and friends will cometogether at the Dallas Convention Center (Convention Hall A). 3,500 people are expected to attend and break the world record for, MOST SANDWICHES MADE IN ONE HOUR.
